Beno company, Delaware, USA, has unveiled the Reevo electric bike on its Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, providing the modern city dweller with a comfortable, safe, reliable and stylish ride. The main difference between Reevo and many other e-bikes on the market is the unique design of the spokes-free wheels.
It was Beno Reevo’s original design that made the project popular on Indiegogo. According to the developers, they have passed all tests despite the seemingly unreliable and fragile bicycle wheels. This allows users with a weight of up to 120 kg to operate Beno Reevo without any problems.
The stylish design of the Beno Reevo electric bike, made in aggressive black colors, is complemented by ingenious engineering solutions to ensure a safe ride. The bike is equipped with an automatic lock using a fingerprint sensor and GPS tracking.
Reevo is equipped with a 750 W electric motor, a removable rechargeable main battery (48V, 10.5 Ah) and a built-in internal one that enables the performance of the owner recognition system and the GPS system. The wheels are locked using a hidden lock operated by a fingerprint scanner.
The maximum speed of the bike is 40 km per hour, and the radius of an autonomous ride on a single battery charge is up to 60 km. Heavy-duty aircraft-grade aluminum was used in the construction of the bicycle body, with a wheel diameter of 27.5 inches. To ensure driving safety in the dark, the Reevo wheels are equiglasspped with LED lighting, which automatically turns on when the street illumination decreases. You can control the bike from your smartphone using a special application.
Cycling fans actively supported the Beno Reevo project on the Indiegogo platform, where over 700 thousand dollars have already been collected during the first incomplete week, which is much more than the required $50,000. The first customers will be able to receive bicycles with wheels without spokes by March 2021 at a price of $1,999.
