Fliteboard first entered the water activity market in 2018 when it introduced an innovative hydrofoil device. Easy to operate, safe and compact, Fliteboards have become increasingly popular with extreme water enthusiasts. In two years, the sales of rather expensive electric surfers on hydrofoils have long passed over a thousand units, which prompted the founders of the company to offer a second series of devices with more advanced technical characteristics.
Fliteboard Series 2 boards are already featured on the manufacturer’s website and incorporate two years of operating experience into their design, resulting in more responsive devices that provide the ability to “fly over water” not only for professionals but also for beginners.
The new line of Fliteboard Series 2 devices includes four models, in which, along with technical innovations, the company also used original design, new colors in the design of boards: Fliteboard Air, Fliteboard, Fliteboard Ultra, Fliteboard Pro.
The updated models of electric surfers pay special attention to protecting the battery, which powers the brushless electric motor, which allows speeds up to 20 km/h over water. The battery pack is now securely protected and housed inside a board made of durable carbon material.
Remote controls now have an LED screen, which displays information about the main parameters of the “flight over water”, the battery charge level, and other data. Communication is conducted via Bluetooth.
Fliteboard electric surfers are manufactured and developed in Byron Bay, Australia, on the Pacific coast, where the devices are being tested. The most affordable is the Fliteboard Ultra, which starts at $12,995.
