Samsung Comes up with a Huge and Expensive Neo QLED TV

Samsung has introduced a new 98-inch Neo QLED TV in South Korea. Compared to last year, this year’s 98-inch TV has 4K resolution, higher brightness, better picture quality, and more powerful sound tuning. Its price is 34,000 USD.

A TV with a 98-inch Mini-LED panel can reach an incredible brightness of up to 5000 nits. Its brightness can be adjusted in 16,384 steps thanks to its 14-bit panel and Neo Quantum+ processor. The built-in AI processor can upscale content to 4K resolution. It supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG but does not support Dolby Vision.

The model received a 6.4.4-channel speaker setup capable of reproducing 120 watts of sound. The speaker system includes six front speakers, four tweeters and four woofers. Four different video streams can be displayed on the screen at the same time. The TV has an all-metal body and is only 19.9mm thick.

The TV runs on Tizen OS and has access to all audio and video streaming services. It also includes Bixby, Alexa, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, and SmartThings. The Samsung KQ98QNB100 will be released in Europe as QE98QN100B and in the US as QN98QN100B in the coming months.
