A Very Compact E-Scooter Himo H1

Developers from the Himo company, which is a subsidiary of Xiaomi, announced the most compact electric scooter Himo H1, which can be folded up to fit in a medium-sized urban backpack. The small size of the scooter will allow to move around the city and even enjoy off-road walks in the countryside.

The Himo H1 scooter is driven by a 180 W brushless electric motor. The owner of H1 will be able to travel at speeds of up to 18 km/h on rough terrain with an angle of up to 10 degrees. Autonomy is provided by a battery with the capacity of 7500 mAh, which allows you to cover the distance of up to 30 km without recharging.

The scooter frame is made of lightweight aluminum and coated with scratch-resistant paint. The diameter of the two airless wheels is 7 inches. The scooter has a folding steering wheel and a folding mesh seat with soft lining. The largest overall dimensions of the device are 840 x 485 x 955 mm. At the same time, the carrying capacity of the mechanism is designed for a user weighing up to 100 kg. For the convenience of the rider, folding foot supports are provided above the front wheel.

The weight of the scooter itself is 14.5 kg, and the dimensions when folded are 455 × 320 × 230 mm. The small size of the assembled scooter will allow Himo H1 to be carried in public transport, while going to shops or to the office. You can carry the scooter both in your hands or in a city backpack.

A LED headlamp and a LED display are integrated in the front steering rack, allowing you to monitor the speed mode, the battery charge level and the mode of operation of the headlamp. A small battery is installed in a special module protected from splashes. A motor and a digital braking system are also integrated in the splash-proof housing.

Currently, only one battery is supplied, and it is not possible to purchase an additional battery. However, the developers assured that over time, additional batteries will enter the market. The battery weighs 1.8 kg, and it takes 4 to 6 hours to fully charge. There are rear reflectors.

Himo H1 scooter can now be ordered on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, where the project has already collected over $109,000, whereas the initial target was $10,000. At the same time, the first buyers will receive scooters at prices from $469 to $499 in May. In retail, scooters will be priced at $700. A special backpack for transporting the scooter is also included in the delivery package.
