An event that all bloggers and insiders have been talking about for so long has taken place – Apple has officially unveiled the budget version of their iPhone, introducing the second-generation iPhone SE. Apple engineers spent four years moving from the company’s first relatively inexpensive smartphone, the iPhone SE, to an up-to-date model that incorporates all the technological innovations. Corporation marketers assigned the model the same name iPhone SE without hesitation.
Numerous insider reports about the appearance of the new case were confirmed. It retained the design of iPhone 8. Thus, the consumer will see the iPhone SE with a 4.7-inch (1334×750) Retina HD display and the familiar “old” button with an integrated fingerprint Touch ID sensor. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and the Haptic Touch function. The second-generation iPhone SE has been protected against moisture and dust in accordance with the IP67 standard.
The hardware part of the budget device by Apple runs on the proprietary A13 Bionic processor, installed in the latest models of iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Permanent memory of 64, 128 or 256 GB is available, depending on the version. Apple traditionally says nothing about RAM, but the insiders point to 3 GB.
The smartphone supports Qi wireless charging. 18 W fast charging technology provides 50 percent battery charge in half an hour. However, the sales kit includes a 5 W charger.
The iPhone SE smartphone supports two SIM cards, one of which is eSIM. There are modules that provide wireless Wi-Fi 6 and a gigabit LTE module. Stereo speakers provide high quality sound.
The smartphone iPhone SE provides for the installation of only one sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels (f/1.8) for the main camera. Shooting in the Smart HDR mode is available, and a neural module in the A13 Bionic processor is used to create the background blur effect for portrait shooting. 4K video recording at 60 frames per second is also available. The front camera will receive a 7 megapixel sensor (f/2.2).
In addition to the traditional black and white colors, the smartphone will be available in a red case.
