Self-restraint, isolation and telecommuting amid the coronavirus pandemic are forcing people to be creative in organizing their home workspace. UK-based Pith & Stem company has developed and marketed an original computer folding desk DropTop solution that combines practicality, minimalism, ergonomics, and environmental friendliness. The new DropTop convertible table will help you create a comfortable and compact home office that easily converts into a wall-mounted painting.
Pith & Stem engineers used high-strength, environmentally friendly natural materials to design the DropTop table body. The desk is made of birch plywood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). At the same time, the developers say that each DropTop table sold will result in the planting of ten trees under the Tree Nation program. When folded, the desk becomes a box with dimensions of 1160 mm by 610 mm and a width of 120 mm.
When unfolded, the user receives a work surface of 1200×600 mm. The box is hung on the wall using a special steel fastener. Installation does not require any special skills. Two 24-inch Full-HD monitors are supplied inside the box with a full set of cables that provide connection of screens to computers or laptops. All computer accessories can be placed in special sections inside the box.
After folding the desk, the user receives a beautiful wall painting, and its format and appearance can be chosen individually. The DropTop transforming table is priced at around $1,500.
