YouCare unique remote health-tracking technology, built into a standard T-shirt, was unveiled at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) in Barcelona. The sensors, integrated into the T-shirt YouCare, provide monitoring of the parameters of human vital functions and data transmission over 5G networks.
When it comes to appearance, the clever YouCare T-shirt is virtually indistinguishable from an ordinary piece of clothing. The material from which the T-shirt is made can withstand numerous washes. The main goal of the YouCare T-shirt, made and developed in Italy, is to create a compact tool for constant monitoring of human health parameters.
Small, compact polymer sensors are integrated into the fabric of the YouCare T-shirt and are capable of monitoring critical parameters such as respiratory rate, electrocardiogram, sweating, muscle activity and other data. The information received from the sensors is concentrated in a miniature control element mounted on the surface of the T-shirt, transformed into a digital signal, and broadcast via the 5G network to servers or directly to the user’s smartphone.
According to the developers, the YouCare smart T-shirt has already attracted the attention of several companies and organizations working in the medical market, including the International Red Cross.
