Xiaomi, the global leader in Mi Band fitness bracelets, continues to develop an ecosystem of devices designed to monitor the user’s physical condition. They presented a bracelet in China with a completely new design and a wraparound screen.
The presented prototype of the new fitness bracelet received the conditional marking Mi Band X, but the final name of the serial devices may be completely different. The design of the presented bracelet resembles a hybrid of a smartphone and a smartwatch Nubia Alpha Watch, released by Nubia in 2019.
The flexible screen of the Mi Band X wraps the user’s hand instead of the usual strap. It is assumed that the new device will be fixed on the hand with a magnetic clasp, and the first production model will appear on the market no earlier than 2022.
