ZEOD RC Is World’s Fastest Electric Car

fastest electric car in the world

ZEOD RC resembles DeltaWing, another Nissan race car, in appearance. However, it is not surprising: it was created by the same team of designers led by Ben Bowlby.

ZEOD RC is designed not only for the pursuit of records: the technology, tested in the harsh conditions of Le Mans, will be used in the development of future generations of the “civil” Nissan LEAF, which is considered the world’s best-selling electric car, and Nissan LEAF RC, which is driven by the 107-horsepower engine, just as Nissan LEAF.

Nissan is going to try out various options of the electric gearbox for ZEOD RC, which will have a speed of over 300 km/h. In addition to the all-electric scheme, a special system will be tested that allows you to use both “green” electricity and dynamic petrol. The first tests of the car will be held at the end of this summer. Next year, ZEOD RC will take part in the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
