Unlimited Powered E-Bike Nua Electrica

Spanish company Nua Bikes has introduced a completely new electric bike. It is lightweight, compact, looks like an ordinary bicycle and besides, it does not need to be recharged.

The design of the Nua Electrica includes a titanium frame, a 160 Wh battery, a control system, a 250W motor, a typical bicycle chassis with a minimum body kit where the Zehus Bike + power module is installed, as well as a motor integrated into the rear wheel, which is only seen due to a carbon belt transmission by Gates.

Nua Bikes is controlled by a smartphone. When fully charged, the electric bike can cover on up to 30 kilometers on even surface. Nua Bikes has a “self-charging” mode. When it is activated, the system uses any convenient moment to charge the batteries from pedaling, with a minimal increase in the load on the user’s legs. The batteries are recharged when moving down the slope. At this moment, the recuperative braking energy conversion system is activated.

The bike does not stop even in cases when the batteries are discharged. The construction weighs 13 kilograms and can be accelerated using the traditional method of riding a regular bicycle. The developers note that forced recharging of batteries will theoretically be needed only a few times during the whole service period of the bike.
