At a gala presentation marking the 10th anniversary of the company, Xiaomi presented the result of a joint partnership project with the Lamborghini automobile concern. It was the unique electric Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition created with the involvement of the subsidiary Xiaomi Ninebot-Segway and Lamborghini experts. The exterior design of the new model is a stylized version of the Ninebot Gokart Pro, which was released earlier this year in China.
The GoKart is painted in the recognizable Lamborghini Yellow and features a design that reminds you of a real hypercar. It also features a sports steering wheel and a striking rear spoiler. When driving, the Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition emits a sound that imitates a gasoline engine.
The construction of the electric kart is reinforced with a steel frame, which provides increased safety when driving at high speeds, and a load capacity of up to 100 kg. The bumper and side trim of the Ninebot GoKart Pro are made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which absorbs the energy of collision against barriers and provides additional protection to the user.
The all-electric kart uses a 432 Wh battery that lets the device make 62 laps of a 400 meter track at 40 km/h (approximately 25 km). The Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition will be priced around $1,440, but the launch date hasn’t been set yet.
