Lenovo continues to work on improving ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops and convertible ThinkPad X1 Yoga laptops. The developers have already reduced the thickness and weight of the device.
Dolby Atmos Sound
The design of the speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos surrounds sound has been changed significantly. Laptops are equipped with 4 directional microphones operating at a distance of 4 meters. The hardware is represented by Whiskey Lake Intel Core chips of the 8th generation with 8 or 16 GB RAM and an SSD drive up to 2 TB. ThinkPad X1 Carbon model is enclosed in a black case with an unpainted carbon-fiber lid. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga laptop comes in an aluminum case of the dark gray Iron Gray color.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon comes with a 14-inch screen of various resolutions from Full HD to QHD and 4K displays. The physical size of the device is 323x216x14.95 mm, and its weight is 1.08 kg. The laptop has two Thunderbolt3 connectors, two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI interface, and a 3.5 mm port. The battery capacity of 51 Wh provides the ability to work offline for 15 hours.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga
The touch screen of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga with a diagonal of 14 inches rotates 360o. The consumer can choose Full HD, QHD, and 4K UHD screen options. The laptop parameters are almost identical to Carbon (323x218x15.2 mm), but the weight is much higher – 1.35 kg.
Lenovo ThinkVision P44w Monitor
Lenovo ThinkVision P44w curved monitor has a 43.4-inch diagonal with a 32:10 ratio, which corresponds to two 24-inch 16:10 monitors. At the same time, there is no frame between the images. The monitor can operate from two signal sources. This feature provides two USB Type-C ports, two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 port.
The price of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon starts at $1,710, while ThinkPad X1 Yoga costs from $1,930. Their sale starts in June. The monitor will be on sale from April. It will cost $1,200.
