During the big presentation of Xiaomi, the Chinese company announced the launch of the new Mi Smart Projector 2, which is a more affordable modification of the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro presented in March 2021.
The new projector is capable of projecting images from 60 inches (1.6 meters from the wall) to a 120-inch screen (3.2 meters from the wall). It supports autofocus technology and automatic keystone correction.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 has HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, built-in 5W speakers, a 3.5mm headphone or speaker port. It supports Dolby Atmos technology. The overall dimensions of the projector are 115x150x150 mm with a weight of 1.3 kg.
Wireless communication is provided via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 5.0. The amount of RAM is 2 GB, and the built-in memory gets 16 GB. The software platform for Mi Smart Projector 2 is Android TV with Google Assistant support, which allows you to control devices from the smart home ecosystem.
The cost of the new Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 is 600 euros, which is significantly lower than the flagship model Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro, which was sold for 1000 euros.
