A week after the official presentation of the LG Wing smartphone with a unique design of rotating screens, LG announced the start of sales of the device, named the country in which the gadget will appear first and announced its price.
The smartphone with two rotating screens will go into retail sales in early October. It is not surprising that the first LG Wing smartphone will be available to residents of South Korea, the homeland of the manufacturer. The estimated official price in Korea will be 1,098,900 won, which is equivalent to USD 944. In the first days of sales, the buyers receive a 70% discount on replacing any damaged screen in the first two years of use, not covered by the terms of warranty repair.
The next countries where the original LG Wing smartphone will appear will be the markets of the USA, Canada and Europe. The release time of the global version will be announced later. The revolutionary device opens the Explorer series, smartphones with original designs and limited editions for market research.
As a reminder, the LG Wing smartphone is equipped with a 6.8-inch P-OLED FullVision main screen and a 3.9-inch FHD + hidden second screen. In the rotation mode, the entire front of the phone rotates clockwise 90 degrees, allowing users to interact with the second screen. The hardware is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
