Huami to Launch Curved AMOLED Smart Wristwatch Amazfit X

Back in September, Huami developers demonstrated the concept model of the Amazfit X smart watch. Now, the Chinese company has announced the start of fundraising on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. The community was looking forward to launching the project, as evidenced by the almost instantaneous collection of funds necessary for the implementation of the project. Almost half a million dollars were raised on Indiegogo during the very first day, whereas the necessary budget was $20,000.

Introduced in September 2019, a watch with a curved AMOLED screen and a diagonal of 2.07 inches, has a resolution of 206×640 with a pixel density of 326ppi. Screen brightness up to 430 cd/m2 with 100% coverage of the NTSC color space.

The smart watch weighs only 39 grams, and the case provides protection against moisture when immersed to the depth of 50 meters (5 ATM). Autonomous work up to 7 days is provided by a 200 mAh battery. The watch supports working with GPS systems.

The developers focused on tracking the user’s vital signs, including heart rate, which is monitored for 24 hours. It also provides monitoring physical activity using 9 sports modes.

The watch is equipped with 20 preinstalled types of dial. An infrared sensor will allow you to assess the level of oxygen in the blood without an injection. Such a test is especially important with the timely diagnosis of coronavirus. The sleep tracking system will allow you to control and improve the user’s sleep parameters.

On Indiegogo, the Amazfit X watch can be ordered for $149 and will be delivered in August. The retail price after the completion of the project will be $329. There are still 4 weeks left until the end of the fundraising campaign.
