Blue Origin Space Corporation (Washington, USA) provided an image of the interior of space capsules, which will be located in New Shepard rockets. A private aerospace corporation, owned by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, plans to arrange suborbital tourist flights as early as next year.
Based on the photographs presented by Blue Origin, one can make an optimistic conclusion that the time of close and inconvenient spacecraft is coming to an end, and tourist flights will be comfortable and worthy of their high cost.
The developers equipped the space for each of the six passengers of the capsule with a large rectangular window, an illuminator with the height of 43 inches (109 cm). A space traveler will be able to enjoy the unusual view from his place while the capsule is reaching the given height.
The comfort offered to tourist passengers of the New Shepard spaceship is considerably better than the ascetic strict arrangement of SpaceX Crew Dragon and Boeing Starliner spaceships, intended for research flights to the ISS. In early April 2017, the Blue Origin company will provide an opportunity to visit the real model of a tourist space capsule in Colorado Springs (Colorado, USA).
The suborbital flights themselves are planned to begin in 2018, given that no technical and organizational problems appear. The cost of the flight is not announced yet, but it will be comparable with the cost of a Virgin Galactic space travel ticket, estimated at a quarter of a million dollars.
