The project aimed at raising money for the HeLi-on pocket charger with integrated flexible solar cells has successfully been completed on the Kickstarter crowdfunding service.
For convenience, the solar panel is turned into a roll and is placed in a case, which also functions as a battery with the capacity of 2600 mAh. According to the developers, the solar module will charge the iPhone by 80% in 2-3 hours in clear weather.
Smartphones can get charged from the HeLi-on built-in battery over the same period of time. The declared cost of the gadget is about $90.
