Thinnest Tablet from Dell

FCC agency has certified a new tablet created by the Dell company, which was presented at the Developer Forum IDF 2014 in September. Here is some information about the price and time of the appearance of the new items on sale.

The device, called Dell Venue 8 7000, has several features, including 8.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a 3D-camera Intel RealSense with the depth sensor. Other characteristics of the device include the body thickness of only 6 mm, 4-core processor Intel Atom Z3500 (Moorefield) with a frequency of 2.3 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of permanent memory, 8 megapixel main camera (besides RealSense) and a 2 megapixel front camera.

The operating system is likely to be represented by Android 4.4 KitKat, and judging by the data received from the certification agency FCC, the tablet will get a slot for SIM-cards. The novelty should go on sale later this month at a price of about $500.
