Fujifilm GFX100 Mirrorless Camera with 102 Megapixels & 3 Screens

The new Fujifilm GFX100 mirrorless camera has become the flagship device capable of shooting with a unique resolution of 102 megapixels. The camera is equipped with a built-in function that provides pre-retouching of photos directly during shooting.

The GFX100 camera has received a unique new 102 megapixel CMOS sensor with backlighting and an active area of 43.9×32.9 mm. This sensor is 1.7 times bigger than the sensors in full-frame 35-mm cameras. The hardware of the digital camera runs on X-Processor 4 developed by Fujifilm. The proprietary chip has the Smooth Skin Effect function, which provides automatic smoothing of skin tones, similar to retouching, which photographers actively use when processing pictures.

The Fujifilm GFX100 camera is equipped with 5-axis image stabilization, which, together with the GF64mm F2.8 R WR lens, will provide 5.5 degrees of stabilization. This feature allows you to take a picture while holding the camera in your hands and still use the maximum resolution without the risk of getting a blurred image.

Phase autofocus uses 3.76 million pixels. This allows you to increase the focus speed by 210% compared to the contrast used in the GFX 50R model. The base sensitivity is within the range from 100 to 12 800 ISO and can be expanded from 50 to 102 400 ISO. Continuous shooting is supported at the speed of 5 frames per second. The device also supports 16-bit RAW format. Video recording can be done in 4K, 30 fps or Full HD, 60 fps.

The device contains a removable OLED-viewfinder with the resolution of 5.76 million pixels, a folding 3.2-inch touch-sensitive liquid-crystal display, and two additional OLED-displays presenting additional information. Wireless communication is achieved via Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth. Two SD cards with UHS-II are supported. There are jacks for the headphone and microphones. The weight of the camera is about 1.32 kg, when equipped with two batteries. Its body is made of magnesium alloy and has dust and weather protection.

The GFX100 camera will go on sale on June 27, and the price will be $9,999.
