DJI Osmo Pocket with a Mechanic Stabilizer

The DJI company met the expectations and demonstrated a new compact Osmo Pocket camera with a built-in three-axis mechanical stabilizer. As the manufacturer assures, this system is much more effective than its electronic and optical analogues.

The DJI Osmo Pocket chamber consists of a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels. The focal length of the lens is 26 millimeters, the viewing angle is 80 degrees, the beam is f/2.0. The gadget allows you to take photos with the same resolution of 12 Mp, as well as create 4K video with a frequency of up to 60 frames per second with a bitrate limit of 100 Mbit/s. There are several recording modes available: panorama, slow-motion shooting, face scan or subject.

On the body, there are functional buttons and a touch screen with the diagonal of 1 inch, helping to control the shooting and the settings. The included adapter allows you to connect a smartphone with the Lightning or USB-C interface. It is possible, with much greater convenience, to monitor the recording process on a large screen, as well as to manage the process through a branded application.

A couple of built-in microphones will help record soundtracks. The optional accessory also allows you to connect an external microphone with a 3.5mm audio connector.

The compact gadget employs a 875 mAh battery that provides autonomy for 140 minutes while recording FullHD video. The dimensions of the device are 121.9 x 36.9 x 22.75 millimeters. The product weighs 116 grams. DJI Osmo Pocket will go on sale in mid-December for $349. Additional accessories can be purchased at an additional cost, such as: a waterproof case, a charging case, a set of filters, an adapter with a 3.5-mm input, and a selfie stick.
