High-tech smartwatches are becoming everyday assistants of a modern person, but high-end smartwatch models, such as the Apple Watch Series 4, are relatively expensive. Huami decided to please the mass consumer and announced a new model of smart watch, Amazfit GTS, which is a little different from the famous brand in design. The Amazfit GTS watch has reliable water protection, is equipped with an NFC sensor, has an optical BioTracker PPG sensor and, most importantly, can work offline for about 14 days.
The Amazfit GTS model received a large AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.65 inches and a resolution of 442×348 (341 ppi). The developers claim to support 100% NTSC color display. The watch is covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3.
A relatively large screen diagonal and small frames make it possible to display a larger array of information. Depending on the user’s preferences, the developers offer two customizable dial types. You can display your own biometric data, weather forecast and other useful information. The smart watch comes with several dozen preset dials.
There are 12 different modes of activity tracking: running, swimming, cycling. The BioTracker PPG optical sensor tracks changes in physical activity and the most important indicators of the body’s vital activity. Water protection allows you to dive 50 meters underwater and, of course, swim in the pool or take a shower with Amazfit GTS on.
The watch has built-in GPS and NFC sensors, however, Google Pay is not supported. With an average power consumption, the battery will last for 14 days, and with a rigid user tracking mode, the battery will be discharged after 25 hours. However, the most economical time-saving and notification mode can extend the work of Amazfit GTS up to 46 days.
Amazfit GTS smart watches are already on sale in China for $ 126.
