Signature Altwork Station: Work Seated, Standing up or Lying Down

A modern office worker who spends many hours at a computer sooner or later begins to feel fatigued and back pain, despite the most ergonomic and comfortable office chairs. Altwork Station startup offers a new concept of a workstation, which can help you quickly change your body position and work at a computer while standing, sitting, reclining, or being in a completely horizontal position.

Such a workplace is not cheap – the Signature Altwork Station model, presented at CES 2021, for example, is estimated at $7,650. However, reducing the load on the user’s spine from a monotonous posture by quickly changing the position without reducing labor productivity, will pay off more than once and protect the employee from professional back diseases. From now on, the center of an office workplace is not a computer but a person.

The Signature Altwork Station consists of six movable sections. Changing their position, the user can work while standing, sitting, reclining or even lying in a horizontal position. The built-in electric motors carry out the transformation of the workplace.

To prevent the mouse and keyboard from falling or sliding off, when moving to a lying working position, magnetized tabletops are provided to hold the accessories. Laptops and tablets are mounted in special swivel stands.

The Signature Altwork Station covers an area of 1.7 square meters, adjustable from 140 to 173 cm in length, 86.3 cm in width and 95 kg in weight. To facilitate the movement of the system on the floor, the Signature Altwork Station has five rollers. People weighing up to 115 kg and having a height from 155 to 195 cm will be able to work at the new generation desk.
