Kickstarter has successfully launched a project aimed at raising funds for the production of a smart watch for gamers, Gameband.
The product allows you to play a variety of pre-set mini-games and can be connected to a PC on Windows and Mac OS in order to install new games or favorite music with photos. Among the high-profile titles, Minecraft and Terraria are mentioned.
Project authors call their smartwatch the most powerful item in the world among analogous products. The watch for gamers includes a rectangular 1.63-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 320×320 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal (EMMC) memory, a three-axis accelerometer, a gyroscope, a light sensor, a battery with 400 mAh capacity, wireless Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n modules, a USB Type-C connector and a slot for microSD cards. The watch runs on a customized version of Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
It supports synchronization with a smartphone running on Android / iOS. The Gameband watch also shows time and includes an alarm clock, a calendar, an organizer, and a weather app, makes phone calls and receives messages. Pre-ordered smart watches are available at the price of $149.
