Sony is entering the market with the original compact action camera RX0 II, the main feature of which is the screen that tilts back 180 degrees.

This feature will appeal to video bloggers who need a tiny camera to shoot high-quality video: not only the surroundings but also the blogger himself.

Sony RX0 II has a very compact size of 59×40.5×35 mm and a weight of 132 grams. The camera has quality protection from dust, mechanical shocks, and water resistance when submerged in water for 10 meters.

The RX0 II is equipped with a 1.0-inch 15.3-megapixel CMOS sensor and a Sony BIONZ X image processor, which is used to speed up color reproduction and support photography at 16 frames per second.

The camera is equipped with a Zeiss Tessar T widescreen optics (F/4.0, focal length 24 mm), and the ISO range 80-12800 allows shooting in low light. The model is equipped with the electronic stabilization system. Video recording is available in the 4K format at 30 fps and in the Super Slow Motion mode at 1000 frames per second. There is a connector for connecting an external microphone.

Sony RX0 II will be available in North America in April 2019. The price of the device is $700.
