Coin is a universal electronic card to which you can bind almost any traditional plastic credit, debit, or gift card.
All the personal data are stored in a special supplement on the smartphone, thus, in contrast to the NFC technology, one requires no special equipment to use the cards for payments: Coin is able to interact with the usual payment terminals.
It is impossible to enter someone else’s information because the device is bound to the personal data of the owner. By the way, thanks to its being bound to a smartphone, you will receive a sound notification if the card is at some distance, so it will be difficult to lose it. Such a card will be available in late spring next year for the price of about $100.
