LG company has announced two LED-backlit projectors for home use: Minibeam Pro (PF1500) and Minibeam TV (PW800). According to LG, the projectors are suitable for a small home theater and have a fairly small size and weight that allows you to take them with you. The declared LED-lamp resource is 30,000 hours, which theoretically allows you to use the projector for 8 hours a day for 10 years without replacing the lamp module.
Minibeam Pro (PF1500) has a resolution of 1920×1080, the brightness of 1,400 ANSI-lumens and a contrast of 150,000: 1. The maximum image size can be 120 inches at the distance of 3.69 meters to the screen. The projector is equipped with HDMI, USB, and a wireless Bluetooth module. Its dimensions are: 132x220x84 mm. Weight: 1.5 kg.
Minibeam TV (PW800) model has a resolution of 1280×800, the brightness of 800 ANSI-lumens and a contrast of 100,000: 1. The maximum image size is up to 100 inches at the distance of 3.25 meters. The projector has a built-in TV-tuner. Its dimensions are: 140h140x50 mm. Weight: 0.6 kg.
