Last week, the Italian, Spanish, French and German GoPro websites published images of the yet officially unannounced GoPro Hero5 action cameras and the Karma drone.
However, due to the low resolution, it is impossible to have a close look at the details of the device – you can only get a general impression.
We will remind you that, according to rumors, the GoPro Hero5 action camera will get a GPS module, a touch screen display, a new menu and will be able to record video in 4K resolution at 30 fps.
In the picture, you can also notice an action camera stabilizer looking like the recently announced DJI Osmo Mobile. Perhaps it will also be compatible with smartphones.
Other interesting rumors about Gopro Karma:
It is reported that Hero5 will enable you to record videos in ultra-high resolution 4K format at 60 frames per second. For comparison, the Hero4 Black model, which heads the family of GoPro action-cameras, is capable of capturing 4K-videos at a rate of 30 frames per second. Thus, the frame rate will double.
According to rumors, the new product will help get a design with two optical units, which enables you to record videos in a 3D format. In addition, it is said to support wireless Bluetooth 4.0 and have battery capacity of 2800 mAh.
By the end of the year, the GoPro company also plans to introduce its first drone – Karma. It is known that the UAV will carry an on-board camera that can shoot high-definition video. Apparently, GoPro will support the 4K format. The information on the price of Karma is not yet available.
