Making a trip in a car, the drivers almost always use navigation applications that reflect the actual situation on the road analyzing traffic accidents and recommending the most optimal way to your destination. However, in most cases, a smartphone with this software is not fixed in front of the eyes, and the user has to be distracted from the process of driving to look at the display at least for a second, and this is extremely dangerous.
To help the drivers remain concentrated on the road and use navigation to track their route safely, the authors of the HUDWAY project created a gadget called HUDWAY GLASS.
The product is a stand for a smartphone; when in the open position, its lid shows the information from the display of your mobile device both in bright daylight and with minimal light or at night. All you need to do is to fix the accessory on the front panel of the car and put your mobile device there. The device can be ordered for $49. Deliveries will begin in March 2016.
